SOFT X-RAY and UV SPECTROSCOPY – UVsoftX
The Group consists of four EUV beamlines covering the energy range from 12 to 5500eV, as following:
- TGM – 12 – 310 eV
- SGM – 250 – 1000 eV
- PGM – 100 – 1000 eV (high energy resolution)
- SXS – 900 – 5500 eV
The techniques comprised in these beamlines are:
- X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS)
- X-ray Magnetic Circular Dichroism (XMCD)
- X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy (XAS)
- Mass spectroscopy (TOF)
In all these beamlines share different experimental endstations:
- Standard
- XPS
- Superconductor XMCD
- Scienta
- Rotary
- Cold atoms
- PDMS
Besides these four beamlines, the group has a support laboratory for magnetic materials characterization, with techniques of MOKE and transport.
